I want to recommend a new CD "Hadrons" of a jazz composer and trumpeter Piotr DAMASiewicz. He combined a chamber orchestra with a jazz ensemble, creating a very interesting sound which I adore. You can accuse me of nepotism, but I really love his music...

Kretsloppsparken is a huge thrift store with a cafe & bistro in Gothenburg, coordinated by a friend of mine, Pål Mårtensson, where you can find many vintage treasures or you can bring your old stuff, you do not need anymore. When Pål came to Florianopolis to a conference on Waste Prevention and Recycling, he brought an idea to create this kind of place also here. Fingers crossed...

This Nitinha's hanger with Lilly I have made for a beautiful girl, Maria Rosa, for her 9th birthday. Her mum told me that Maria Rosa followed Nitinha's blog and she liked my illustrations a lot:)

Dutch designer, Ingrid Jansen, I have met a couple months ago on Flickr and we became friends. She runs her little company " WOOD & WOOL STOOL " , which I adore very much.
Because she is a very interesting person, talented women and she also is a big fan of my illustrations (she told me about it :)), I have got an idea to draw her as a friend of Nitinha.
Then she took me by surprise, framing it as " a little piece of art" and posting about it on her lovely blog
She also sent this cute little wood wool hanger as a gift to Little Ivo.

Brazilian architect Eduardo Longo lives in this spherical big blue ball. He designed and built it for himself in 1974.
Being in Sao Paulo I could not find it. This house is hidden and "plugged into" another building via access ramp. Marvelous!

Taking photo of my frames, I was closer and closer to an old house with dark green shutters and something has happened.
I have met Lena, a fashion designer. She lives with her son Leo in this very interesting house, full of memories, vintage items and furniture. She has invited me inside to lunch with them. It was marvelous afternoon and I hope it is not the end of that acquaintance...

Conheci Lena, uma designer de moda. Ela mora com seu filho Leo nesta interessante casa, cheia de memórias, objetos e móveis antigos. Ela me convidou para o almoço. Foi uma tarde maravilhosa e espero que nos encontremos novamente.

-Titus, what were you doing at school today?
- I don't know.
- Why don't you know?
- Because I don't know how to say it.
- ok then, if you can't tell us what you were doing at school today, just draw it!
Five minutes later, he gave me this white paper napkin with a cathedral drawn on it, completely surprising us.
He did not even know what was so special about it...

- Titus, o que você fez hoje na escola?
- Eu não sei.
- Como assim não sabe?
- Eu não sei como se chama.
- Está bem, então já que você não sabe nada, vai desenhar para nós neste pedaço de papel o que você fez na escola hoje.
Cinco minutos depois ele nos deu este guardanapo com um desenho da catedral de Florianópolis. Ficamos completamente surpresos.
E ele nem sabia o que havia de especial nisso.
